Here is a gorgeous pair of aquatic scene vases in translucent green decorated with applied and enameled glass fish swimming against a polychrome underwater scene. Each vase is accented with applied glass `drip' handles and each measures approx 7.75" tall. Each vase is numbered on the bottom, the first with the blue leaf on the back is marked "11" the second with the orange leaf is marked "15". Neither is signed by the maker, however the shape of these particular vases and similar examples at auction over the years tells us they are in fact Moser. The vase with the blue leaf is completely undamaged, no chips or cracks. Both vases have normal wear to the bases, as well as, gilt wear to the top. The vase with the orange leaf on the back is damaged on the bottom (see photo), there is a crack in the glass which can not be felt from the outside that leads away from what we call "point of impact", where it was dropped, the pencil sized "impact point" can be felt, however, that being said we have had this piece for many years and the damage has not `spread'. The vase still displays nice and makes a great companion to the other.
