Here is a classic early Art Nouveau statue of a young girl barefoot with her dress swirling around her as if a light breeze may be blowing. She appears to be picking flowers as one is in her hand and a bunch grow at her feet. Her other hand is raised in the air as if she is waiving to someone. The sculpture stands 18" tall on a round hollow base, we believe there once was a wood base attached, probably with a makers plaque, but it has obviously been lost over the years. She does maintain a lovely gold patina that can look bronze to gold depending on the light (see photos). Again, we find no makers mark but believe she is French in origin, circa 1890's to 1910. She has lovely details and craftsmanship and is well cast. There is no damage, other than the missing base, no chips, cracks, or repairs, there is only a few specks of patina wear on throughout. Please note also she is quite heavy.
