Late 1920s Early 1930s Large Pierre D'Avesn Lorrain (Paul Daum) Relief Moulded Molded Glass Fish Vase With Blue Patina

A fine and large globular shape blue patina vase, with a thick collar rim and rounded base. The vase is moulded in high relief with a ripple surface and stylised clear fish swimming amongst weeds above an arch pattern base band. Late 1920s early 1930s, designed by Pierre D'Avesn for Verreries D'Art Lorrain (Paul Daum), signed with a somewhat indistinct moulded "Lorrain" mark on the base pattern band. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 27.5cm/11in, diameter 24.5cm/9.75in, weight 5.1kg/11.2lb.
