Yellow "Turquoise" Bracelet for Men or Women

Although this stone is an African yellow jasper, it is called yellow turquoise in the trade because of its matrix-rich similarity to real turquoises, so we ask that you be aware of the real meaning of the stone's background throughout the discussion here.

Yellow "turquoise" is in fact a jasper, named so for the similarities it has to turquoise in its matrix and pattern.

Turquoise one of the world's most beloved stones. Colored blue or green by the iron oxide within it, it is a stone sacred to Venus, and to our planet, Gaia. While it bears the sky color of the Throat Chakra, or yellow-green of earth as in this African stone, the matrix rich gems facilitate thought into easier speech, and are also earthy stones that work in healing all of the body's energy centers through the greenish ray of the Heart Chakra. It allows one to stay grounded, but not heavily so--more centered, yet open to the world around us in very creative and spiritual ways. This stone, considered sacred in both the ancient as well as new lands, was often considered a sign of wealth and honor.
