A very attractive 8-day time and gong strike large porcelain china clock made by Ansonia Clock Co. ca. 1912. This case has the desirable 4-color case that came popular after 1910. The colors starts at dark rose at the top, down to light blue, then yellow and finishing with green, dark green at the base. The porcelain china case has no chips, cracks or hairlines. The gilded accents on the case with some ware from handling. The case has a strong Royal Bonn trademark and model name "La Riviere". Overall the clock and case are in very good original condition. The porcelain open escapement dial properly marked and has a not so noticeable hairlines near number 8 and key hole. The clock movement has been serviced and is in good working order.
