Jeweled Vanity Powder Box

This is a beautiful vanity, powder box made up of a heavy glass bottom with an etched bronze lid decorated with filigree work and set with prong set bright pink and bezel set purple faceted stones. It measures about 4 1/2" in diameter by 4 1/4" high. Inside the lid it is marked with a crown symbol and "Empire Art Gold, E. & J.B.". This would beautifully adorn a vanity or dress and would make a nice jewelry box as well. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or breaks and the lid is in extremely good condition with just a tiny dent to the filigree knob on top.
