Bright blue turquoise from Mexico hand knotted into a one of a kind necklace. The color of the afternoon sky over a southwestern desert.
Mexican turquoise hand cut into top drilled "slabs" with 8mm turquoise dyed magnesite stone beads and a magnesite stone "donut" (1 1/3" diameter) in the center. The slab beads of Mexican turquoise vary in size from 20mm (3/4")to 32mm (1 1/4"). The bright silver finish pewter clasp and sterling silver chain make the necklace adjustable from 17" t 19".
Hand knotting gives this necklace a supple, comfortable feel.
Turquoise can be considered a neutral color, it literally compliments almost any other color or tone. This necklace is absolutely stunning with black.
