Completely and beautifully hand painted by an extraordinarily talented late 19th Century Artist, signed "Wells 1900" just beneath the Yellow Rose. The artist decorated this beauty with Breathtaking and Tranquil Bouquets of Gorgeous Soft and so very Delicate PINK, BURGUNDY and YELLOW Tea Roses ~ nestled in lavish greenery and branches. The background colors are stunning in wonderful soft shades of forest greens, teal blues, and milky creams.

This beauty is In Excellent condition ~ no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, or paint loss. I do note for accuracy purposes very light rubbing to the roman gold along the rim, and very light surface scratching around the Light Pink Rose. In no way does this distract or take away from the beauty of this piece. My closeup photo has really exaggerated the scratches. Measures a LARGE 16 inches by 13 inches. Bears the Jean Pouyat, JP L France, mark 5, underglaze hallmark in green, circa 1891- 1932.
