This is just an elegant antique hand painted French Art Tea Set, which includes the Gorgeous Limoges Tea Pot ~ Covered Sugar Bowl and Creamer. Each piece is completely and beautifully hand painted by a very talented late 19th Century American Victorian Period china painter, or early 20th Century Edwardian Era porcelain artist. A beauty for the collector of fine porcelain, especially admirer's of beautiful and elegant Victorian pieces.
Just picture yourself having afternoon tea with friends, being served with this very fine and exquisite presentation tea service set. This Beautiful and Truly Feminine Tea Set has been hand painted with Breathtaking Victorian Tea Roses in the most gorgeous shade of Cotton Candy PINK ~ nestled in wonderful and ever so delicate multi-colored foliage. The Artist has truly captured each petal and fine leaf with the utmost delicacy creating an utterly breathtaking still life palette. This technique of china hand painted in the naturalistic floral art style was so very popular around the Turn-of-the-Century.
Gorgeous Turquoise Beading and Exceptional Raised Enameled Gold Paste scroll work with Roses and Garland Leaves adds the finishing “Sensational” touch to each piece. The Heavy Roman Coin Gold is breathtaking around the upper rim, finial, base, and decorated handles. The Tea Pot measures 6 ¾” tall, Creamer measures 4 ½” tall, and Sugar measures 5 5/8” tall. Overall Condition of each piece is EXCELLENT to MINT CONDITION ~ no chips, cracks, hairlines, paint loss, gold loss, or scratches. For accuracy purposes, I note just one turquoise bead missing. Marked underneath with the Jean Pouyat, mark 5, in green, circa 1891 – 1932. Each piece has been initialed “A E, 1907” by the artist within the hand painting.
