"WHITE AND PINK TEA ROSES MASTERPIECE" ~ This is Truly an Exceptional Victorian Period Heirloom Set ~ Breathtaking Antique hand painted Limoges France Floral Fine Art Master Berry Bowl Serving Set ~ Including the Master Serving Berry Bowl and four individual Berry Dishes, circa 1896, entirely and expertly handpainted by a most talented and respected turn-of-the-last-century artist, M. BLANCHE LENZI, Norristown, PA (most commonly found only with her initials: 'M.B.L.'). Lenzi was a prominent Turn of the Century American china painter who resided in Norristown, Pennsylvania. A Very RARE and Gorgeous Set of artwork to add to your Collection!

This masterful portrait of Roses is true visual decadence, with so many variations of shadow tones, it is nearly impossible to describe each one. With every stroke of the brush, gorgeous rose petals come to life with such fluttering depth, one can nearly feel the softness against one's nose as one bends to inhale the sweet rose scent. These roses are just incredible, with white enameled highlights adding shimmer to the petals' edge. Leaves and branches are exquisite as well, painted in wonderful shades of green against a buttery yellow and cream background. Adding even more beauty is how the artist continued the exceptional hand painting on the outside of the Serving Berry Bowl…….Absolutely Beautiful!

Gorgeous Roman Gold adorns the wide band of each piece with beautiful embossed porcelain along the edges ~ the Master Serving Berry Bowl shaped with beautiful serving handles that adds true grace to the overwhelming beauty of this piece. This is an heirloom to treasure, and a stunning, classic rendering of the humbling beauty of the rose.

Excellent condition, sterling quality, with china painting well preserved within its lustrous glass overglaze finish, no chips, cracks, hairlines, flea bites, surface scratches, repairs, paint or gold loss. The Master Bowl measures 9 1/4" x 10 1/4" in Diameter, and measures 2 1/2" tall ~ each individual Berry Bowl measures 5 3/4" x 1 1/4” tall ~ LIMOGES FLORAL FINE ART MASTER BERRY BOWL SERVING SET. The back-stamp underneath bears the Haviland & Co., Mark 11, underglaze with “L” for Limoges and “FRANCE” , circa 1888 -1896. The individual bowls are back-stamped in green JR Germany.
