VERY RARE D&C Limoges France Oil Lamp Turn-of-the-Century Hand Painted PINK and YELLOW ROSES Gold Work ~ Artist Signed Delinieres & Co Circa 1890

This is an Absolutely Lovely Heirloom Beauty ~ This Extremely Rare Oil Lamp is the CREME DE LA CREME of hard to find porcelain that both collectors and decorators will find very desirable as a decorative piece of Artwork! Just an Extremely Rare Find to add to your Limoges collection. Most Oil Lamps have since been drilled and converted into electric lamps. This one remains in its original oil lamp condition!

This GORGEOUS BEAUTY has been hand painted with wonderful Soft Pastel PINK and YELLOW ROSES, by a late 19th Century American Victorian china painter, or early 20th Century Edwardian Period porcelain artist ~ artist's signed "S.C. Morrel". The Artist has truly captured these wonderful roses in full bloom nestled in extraordinary multi-colored foliage on a luscious soft background of greens, blues, and yellows. The beautiful gold scrollwork adds the finishing touches!

In Excellent Condition ~ I find no chips, cracks, hairlines, paint loss, paint flakes, scratches, or repairs. This beauty measures 9" tall from the base up to neck of hardware, 11 ½” to top of wick slot, the base measuring 5” across in diameter. Marked underneath with the Delinieres & Co., D&CO mark 3 underglaze, circa 1894-1900. Please email me if you have any questions or would like to see additional photos.
