This very fine vintage work of floral porcelain artistry is a CREME DE LA CREME example of late 19th, early 20th Century American porcelain art, taught by old master porcelain artists and art professors: Franz A. Sterling investment quality vintage fine Art-Porcelain, with the century old china painting in pristine condition, beautifully preserved within a lustrous glass overglaze finish. Measures a LARGE 16 1/4 inches by 13 1/4 inches. Bears the Jean Pouyat, JP L France, mark 5, underglaze hallmark in green, circa 1891- 1932.
