This is indeed, a very captivating and extremely vibrant Limoges Charger that is signed by artist R. Schulz. The artistry on this Charger is absolutely gorgeous - it looks professionally painted. The artist has painted luscious, ripe purple & golden grapes glistening in the sunshine, surrounded by their handsome, fat leaves and tender vines. The colors on this Charger are superb from the rich, deep purple of the fruit to the soft blush yellow of the background. This is a strongly painted, gorgeous plate. The rippled rim is painted in gold to further enhance the dramatic painting. It is quite a beauty.

The Charger measures 12 1/2" in diameter.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There are a few surface scratches seen when tilted to the light - it displays perfectly and is superb.

It is marked with Haviland mark 12 , 1893 and after.
