Beautiful Limoges Framed Plaque; Delicate, Lovely Roses

This is a wonderful Limoges plaque that is beautifully framed. The artist has initialed and painted delicate white & deep pink Roses with their dainty leaves clustered around them. There is a pretty spray of branches and leaves in the background. The background colors are rich shades of green, teal, cream, pale yellow and rose. This lovely old tile has been professionally framed (floated) on a fabric matt and an excellent wood frame.

The tile itself measures 6 3/8" long and 4 3/4" wide. The outer dimensions including the frame are 8 1/2" by 10".

The tile is in superb condition and the frame work is outstanding.

I had this framed years ago and since it is "floated" on the fabric, the tile cannot be easily removed. I am quite sure it is marked on the back with a Limoges mark.

Early 1900's is the age for tile mold.
