This is a beautiful Limoges vase which is wonderfully painted. The artist has painted soft pink and maroon Roses around the body of the Vase. The vines and leaves accent the Roses with raised paste gold scroll work above the irregular deep green lower portion of the Vase. The Roses reach upward to the top of the Vase where another band of green is painted with gold beading to accent the band. The inside of the neck is also painted in nice gold which is outlined in black at the bottom of the band. This is a stunning Vase which has a lot of additions to it to make it very special. The mold is handsome and graceful.
The Vase stands about 6" tall and has a circumference of over 21" around.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The gold look very good with some very minor rubbing to the upper rim. The painting is exquisite and the colors are wonderful.
Although this is not marked, it is a Tressemann & Vogt mold. I have the exact same Vase shown in the last 2 pictures; the second vase shows the T&V mark 5a, 1892-1907.
