Gorgeous, Eye Catching Limoges Tray; Deep Burgundy Roses

This is a very eye catching Limoges Tray; it has a lovely shape and is richly and deeply painted. The artist has painted very deep and thick burgundy Roses with their long stems, leaves, unopened and opening buds. The background colors enhance the richness of the Roses very well. The overall effect is dramatic and captivating. This is a handsome mold with it's ruffled edge and raised detail in the mold.

The Tray measures 11 3/4" long and 5 7/8" wide. This is a great shape to place a couple of brooches on pins on; or just display it on it's own - it will certainly add beauty to any collection.

The tray is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There is very minor wear to the piece with a some age related rubbing to the gold on the outer edge.

It is marked with Pouyat mark 5, 1891 and after.
