Exquisite Haviland Limoges Chocolate/Cocoa Pot; Handpainted with Rare Geraniums & Signed by Artist

This is a gorgeous Haviland Limoges Chocolate or Cocoa Pot. These pots are usually painted with Roses or Violets, but this artist has painted a very hard to find flower on this mold - Geraniums. The artist, L. Woodward, has painted Orange/Red and soft Pink Geraniums with their wonderful, handsome leaves, unopened buds and stems all around the body of the Pot. They are artistically positioned to flow around the body and upwards onto the lid. There is very rich Gold on the rims, handle, inner spout and inside the rim; it glows with beauty. This is a very graceful mold and the glaze on it is very, very lovely. I have had this Pot for years and years and I have loved it to pieces. I am only recently selling some of my most beloved pieces as I am downsizing.

The Pot stands about 9" tall and 7 3/4" from spout to edge of handle.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. It is exquisitely painted with a wonderful flower theme on a graceful mold. The Gold is rich and lovely.

It is marked with Haviland mark 12, 1893 and after.
