Beautiful Limoges Stein or Small Tankard; Handpainted Fat Grape Bunches

This is a very lovely handpainted Stein or small Tankard. It is beautifully painted with bunches of fat Purple Grapes hanging downward amongst their fat leaves and slender tendrils of vines. This is painted in a nice Naturalistic style with good use of color and excellent china painting. The earth toned handle blends downward to rich, dark Green at the base of the handle and the base of the Stein. There is a thick, glossy band of Gold right above the base. The upper rim is trimmed in Gold.

This is a nice size Stein, standing 6" tall and having a base diameter of 4 1/4".

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There are a few spots of wear to the thick base paint; but the colors are otherwise very beautiful.

It is marked with Guerin mark 3, 1900 and after.
