This fine porcelain chocolate set features an elegant hand painted purple violet decoration. The chocolate pot stands regally at almost 12 inches tall and is lavished with gold detailing. The cups measure just under 3 inches and the saucers measure 5 inches in diameter. All are beautifully matched with the hand painted pansies and thick gold detailing.
We find the Ginori hallmarks on the underside of each piece that tell us these were made c. 1900. We also find the artist signature on the chocolate pot and cups letting us know that this was painted by a professional studio artist.
The Guerin Limoges tray fits this set perfectly measuring 16 inches long and 13 inches wide. This is also decorated with purple violets in beautiful detail and layered with thick gold around the rim. We find an artist name signed on the back.
We are amazed that this has come through the last 100+ years with no damage. Each piece is in beautiful condition with nary a flake. We have inspected very carefully.
