An antique glass sugar shaker featuring a pewter lid. The base of the shaker is done in a swirl pattern and is a bit wider than the rest of the body. The pewter lid screws onto the top making it easy to fill. We believe this is mold blown as you see a bit of a pontil mark on the bottom.
The manufacturer is unknown. There are no markings on body or lid to assist in identification. We would place this in the late 1800s for a time period.
Measuring 5" tall we find this in lovely condition without breaks or chips in the glass. The lid does have some pitting from age, but not extreme.
