VIctorian watch pin reverse monogram B c. 1880s

An antique watch pin featuring a stylized fleur de lis design. The center is an oval medallion that has been monogrammed with a Victorian script B. The monogram is upside down when looking at the pin. When the wearer would check their watch, the monogram would appear right side up. Very clever design and one you do not see very often.

We did not find any markings on this. Most of these pins were gold filled at the time but this one has not been tested. We would place this in the 1880s for a time period.

Measuring 1 inches long and 3/4 inches tall we find this in wonderful condition. The pin hook is squared off not a half circle which is another unique design. We also find a hook for your watch to hang from.
