Antique glass cream pitcher Late Block Duncan c.1889

An antique pressed glass cream pitcher featuring an all over block pattern on the body. The rim is nicely scalloped and you see a pressed star at the very bottom.

This particular Early American pattern was produced by Duncan & Sons and dates to c. 1889. Other name associated are NR331 Block, aka Late Block.

Measuring 4 3/8" high we find the very base to have a rough ring with tiny dings to the glass. We are not sure, but attribute some of this to manufacturing as it is very consistent all the way around the bottom of the base.
