Antique porcelain soap dish hair receiver hand painted daisies Bavaria c. 1910

An antique porcelain vanity set consisting of a hair receiver and a soap dish. Both pieces are decorated with hand painted daisies and heavy gold accents. The detail of the painting is very fine and the colors are vibrant.

Each are marked with Bavaria telling us the country of origin. Based on the mold design we would place these c. 1910 or before.

The hair receiver measures 4.75" wide and 3.75" high. The soap dish is 5.5" handle to handle long x 2.5" wide and 2.75" high. Except for slight age related wear to some of the gold areas, both are in wonderful condition without any damage to porcelain. It is rare to find a porcelain soap dish as they were used so often and prone to breaking.
