An antique porcelain coffee set featuring a decoration of shadowed peaches highlighted with hand painted gold enameling. The colors are a light lavender with teal green on pot and teal green on sugar, creamer and tray. The tray is a bit different with shadow snowballs. All pieces have a lustre glaze finish.
The hallmark tells us that it was produced by the Carstens Weimar factory in Germany and dates to c. 1880's.
The pot measures a stately 11" high to top of lid with the sugar measuring 6" handle to handle wide and 4" high. the creamer measures 4.5" spout to handle wide and 3.5" high. The tray measures 11" long x 8" wide at the widest. We do not find any damage to this set.
