Antique porcelain condensed milk holder PT Bavaria c. 1908

An antique porcelain condensed milk can holder featuring cherries on one side and cherry blossoms on the reverse. The background fades from a darker green to white at the bottom. There are gold accents on the handles and gold sponging at the rims of holder and lid.

The PT Bavaria mark on this item tells us that is was manufactured c. 1908. The signature of Guillaume appears on the front attributing to the original artist of the transfer decoration.

Measuring 6" from handle to handle and 6.5" high we find the lid has a piece missing on the underside but disappears when lid is in place. The interior of the jar has a line repair (older) just under the rim. None of this is visible when the lid is in place. Our pricing does reflect the condition.
