Vintage cobalt vanity box portrait mirrored Austria Czech porcelain

A vintage porcelain vanity box featuring ormolu brass mounts that frame both bottom and top. The outside of the lid has a portrait area showing a carriage and horses with a driver and two passengers. The portrait is framed in a fine line of gold with just a touch showing wear. The inside of the lid holds a mirror.

The hallmark of a hyphenated Czecho-slovakia in red telling us that this dates to c. 1918-1920. The blue of the porcelain is a deep cobalt and very popular during this time frame.

We did not find any damage to brass or porcelain. The bottom is unglazed and the round shape measures 3" in diameter.
