Antique pattern glass cake stand salver King Son & Co. Bleeding Heart c. 1875

An antique pedestal glass cake stand that features a bleeding heart pattern on top of plate. Along the icing rim we see a slight scalloped pattern. The pedestal shows a flat hexagon shape in the center and a raised base.

This was manufactured by King Son & Co. with the pattern aptly named Bleeding Heart and dates to c. 1875.

Measuring 9.5" in diameter for the plate area and 5.5" high we find a small amount of scratching to the plate surface. You'll find inclusions in the glass typical for this time period.
