Antique EAPG cake salver stand Adams & Co. c. 1880s

An antique glass cake stand salver that features a double oval design on the top with bands of diamonds for the pattern. This has a raised gallery to hold your cake on the plate and avoid slipping. If you look down at the plate, and turn it slightly, this gives the appearance of being square. The base is oblong with raised feet.

This was manufactured by Adams & Co. and is known as Adams NR 120 pattern helping us date to c. 1880's.

Measuring 12" diameter with 9.25" inside diameter and 7" high we find a rough patch on outside rim edge but nothing to be concerned over. We actually felt this with our finger tips before actually seeing it. The underside pattern on the plate shows a few bites but these are small and our camera refused to focus on them. We show a straw mark on the top of the plate and some light scratches from utensil use but all in all this is in good antique condition.
