An antique porcelain plate featuring hand painted cherries. The fruit is hanging on one side of the plate. We see leaves and branches surrounding the fruit against a dark brown background. The rest of the plate has a light cream color.
Hallmarked by Rosenthal with the crossed swords mark tells us that this is c. 1898. We also see the mold name of Claire under the mark.
Measuring 9" in diameter we find just a bit of wear in a few areas. This was most likely from cleaning and could be retouched. There is no damage to porcelain.
