Antique silver mustache tea cup Barbour quadruple plate Christmas c.1891

An antique silver plate mustache tea cup an saucer specifically made for the gentleman. This has a floral chased design on cup and saucer plus we find initials engraved on one side in old Script. Just under the initials we see Dec. 25, 91 which tells us this was a Christmas gift.

Hallmarked by Barbour Bros. Co. quadruple plate and by the engraving it gives us a time frame of c. 1890s.

The cup has a 3.75" opening and is 2.75" tall. The saucer measures 5.75" in diameter. We see some age related marks but for how old this is and how it presents, we would give it an 8 out of 10 for condition.
