Antique shaving cup RS Prussia plate #117 Book Piece
An antique shaving cup featuring a ribbon and bow that wraps around the mug and is colored pink. Under the bow are hand painted flowers that look like red asters. The mug has a soap compartment with drainage holes and two indentations to hold a brush and possibly a razor.

Manufactured by R.S. Prussia, you can find this featured in Marple's R.S. Prussia Formative Years as plate 117. There is no hallmark on the bottom which is not unusual for older pieces prior to 1898.
Measuring 3.5" high this is without damage. The gold that once rimmed the top is now faded but all the other hand painted decorations on this are still very clear and colorful.
