An antique lady's porcelain inkwell that features gold detailing and blue forget me not flowers. The Victorian shape is long with a heavy scalloped rim suggesting handles at both ends. This has a round ink pot in the center of the attached tray with its original lid.
Hallmarked in blue by the Victoria Austria porcelain factory on the base tells us that this is c. 1890's.
Measuring 6.5" long and 4" at the widest we find a small flake on the underside of the rim which is not noticeable when in the upright position. The price does reflect this small flaw.
