An antique glass pitcher and tumbler set featuring an amethyst color. Each piece has been hand enameled with a raised dot floral design. The glass itself is paneled. The pitcher has a large ruffled mouth and an applied solid glass handle. The tumblers have a narrower base then flare out at the top.
We do not have a clue as to which glass company manufactured this. It could be a U.S. company or one abroad. If we were to hazard a guess, I would say that this may be Bohemian. We would place this in the 1890's for a time frame; possibly 1880's.
The pitcher measures 8 inches tall and each tumbler is 4 inches tall. Except for minimal paint wear we did not find a bit of damage. There are inclusions and bubbles within the glass which is typical for this time period.
