Antique porcelain syrup pitcher portrait gold detail Wheelock bindenshield

An antique porcelain syrup pitcher featuring a fabulous portrait on the front. The portrait is framed with gold and signed Constance on the bodice of her dress. The rest of the decoration consists of gold and art nouveau transfers with green and maroon coloring underneath.

We have three marks on the bottom; a bindenshield, M.Z. Austria and Wheelock that assist us in dating this to the late 1890's.

The syrup pitcher measures 5 3/4" tall to the top of the finial on the lid, and 5" from spout to handle. Except for a bit of gold wear, this is in fine condition without damage to porcelain.
