Antique cut glass compote daisy motif American Brilliant period

An antique cut glass pedestal compote featuring a daisy motif on the bottom of bowl and a hobstar pattern around the sawtooth rim. The stem has notched flutes and the base has an excellent deep cut 20 point star. This gleams in the light and rings nicely when tapped.

We were unable to determine the make of this fine piece but would place it no later than the first decade of the 20th Century for a time frame.

Measuring 7.5" tall and 6.5" across and the deep cut sides are approximately 1" high with the dish sloping gently to 1.75" in the center. We did not find a bit of damage to this. It has been well cared for.
