A Victorian glove box featuring a splendid Art Nouveau design of roses and swirls. The ormolu finished spelter metal shows some dark spots but still glows nicely. The lining does have issues but this could easily be repaired.
The manufacturer for this lovely box is Brainard and Wilson and we date this to circa 1908.
Measures almost 11" long. A great estate find and perfect for the collector. You do not find many glove boxes such as this one.
