EAPG glass cake stand Broken Column Columbia c. 1888

An antique pattern glass cake stand featuring a high standard pedestal. This is called Broken Column due to the irregular thickness in the glass. We also see indentations in the design; almost like thumbprints.

This was made by Columbia Glass and is considered Early American Pattern Glass. Manufacturing date is c. 1888.

Measuring 11" diameter on the top and 7.75" in height, we find this in fine antique condition without damage. You'll find some inclusions which was typical for this period of glass making.
