Vintage cameo brooch diamond habille sterling filigree frame

A vintage shell cameo brooch featuring a diamond accent pendant around the young woman's neck. The cameo is expertly carved and features flowers at the left shoulder with the lady's dress draped across her bosom. This silver mounts have wonderful filigree and scroll work. The diamond is also mounted in silver with a silver rope attaching it to the cameo.

We did not find any hallmarks to this wonderful piece but this did test positive for sterling silver and is c. 1920's. It has a locking C clasp to secure safely to your sweater or blouse.

Item measures a substantial 1 5/8" long x 1.25" wide. You'll notice a line from the backside along the top part of her head when looking at the back of the cameo. This does not appear on the front.
