Vintage Dresden porcelain candlesticks figural cherubs Germany

A pair of porcelain candlesticks featuring musical nude cherubs; one with a flute and the other with a mandolin. The finish is a mix of matte and shiny glaze and the hand painted detail is a study in perfection. The bases feature applied flowers typical of Dresden porcelain.

The mark on this beautiful set was used by the Porcelain Factory Sandizell and tells us that these were manufactured c. 1951.

Measuring 5" in height we find the condition is perfect without nips, cracks or chips.
