Antique ladies ostrich feather hand fan black Civil War re-enactment costume piece
An antique ladies hand fan featuring large black ostrich feathers. Each feather is attached to a wood spindle. We find a scrolled brass finger hoop at bottom for carrying. This would be perfect as part of a costume for the Civil War reenactor.

There are no marks on this fine piece that would tell us a manufacturer. We would place this late 19th to early 20th Century.
Measuring 13.25" long with an open width of 18" wide we find slight wear to the bottom wood spindles and a bit of thinning on the feathers but no damage or breakage.
