This is the Gold Medal Flour Cook Book, Washburn Crosby Company, Minneapolis MN, c. 1917
This fabulous soft cover cookbook features not only great recipes but beautiful ads from the "Eventually...Gold Medal Flour...Why not Now?" ad campaign. Also included is a recipe written on a piece of paper with ads for Scot Tissue "67 million rolls bought over the counters in 1926...". Also of interest is the introduction of the company's home service by none other than...Betty Crocker.
There are pencil marks on the Tables page, spots and a folded corner on the front and back pages and age-related wear to the covers. However, considering this cookbook is almost 100 years old, I'd say it is still in excellent condition. It measures 8" X 11".
This is a must-have for any vintage cookbook collector.
