This is an incredibly beautiful sterling silver and inlaid turquoise panel bracelet. Each domed panel has an intricately etched story scene atop a turquoise mosaic that is framed in textured sterling silver I have seen many of these panel bracelets before (most have repetitive patterns in the panels) but none with this level of detailed craftsmanship and in such excellent condition.
The bracelet's domed panels allow you to be able to put your wrist down flat as the bracelet conforms to the shape of your wrist. No irritating jangling with this lovely piece! The bracelet's marks are barely legible but I see WOG surrounded by part of the word Mexico, initials that look like J.A.L, and another word I cannot make out. The second mark is easier to read and understand, it is the Eagle stamp. That mark dates this bracelet to 1945-48 when the eagle mark was discontinued. There is a number which I believe is 55 in the center of the eagle. That number represents the region in which it was made. The bracelet measures approximately 7" and is 1" W.
Don't let this bracelet pass you by. I am sure it would quickly become your "signature" piece.
