This neat old work is "Outlines of Physiology, Both Comparative and Human: In Which Are Described the Mechanical, Animal, Vital, and Sensorial Organs and Functions, Including Those of Respiration, Circulation, Digestion, Audition and Vision, as They Exist in the Different Orders of Animal, From the Sponge to Man, Also, the Application of These Principles to Muscular Exercise, and Female Fashions and Deformities, illustrated by Numerous Engravings." This was by J.L. Comstock M.D. and printed in 1846 by Pratt Woodford & Co. This is the tenth edition. This work has leather covers and spine. It is app. 7.5"x4.5"x1". This is in good+ condition with some corner, edge, spine wear and bumping. There is chipping to the leather and splitting along the spine of the front cover and back. The front hinge is cracked and just a little cracking to the back but all pages are intact and the binding tight. This does have old water staining at the bottom as shown which goes through the first few pages but is faint through most. There is age toning. There are no offensive odors.
