This lightweight old piece has a lovely lady with a large flower on her head. Her flowing dress ends in a pedestal flaked by cattails. She is 9" tall and 3" at the widest. "4122" are on the bottom back of the pedestal. She is in very good condition overall with a possible nick to the tip of one leaf at the side of the pedestal - there is a thin, small depression at the tip of one petal of the large flower on her head and another thin possible flake off the side of the tulip in the center of the base. These feel smooth to the touch and there are irregularities and lumps in other places. There are some tiny dark specks in the material and a couple of mold lines. This is NOT an area any of us are familiar with. So, please ask any question you feel necessary because more than likely - you know more than we do about it!
Each piece is checked by at least two of us before being listed for nicks, chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs while writing a description. These are older pieces and some have manufacturing flaws such as edges that are rougher and not smooth (common along the rims and handles and will be under the glaze), firing pops, transfer flaws, glaze flaws etc...Each piece is then checked over again while being photographed. Finally, when we wrap the item at least two of us check the piece over one final time and you will receive an initialed checklist in with your item. We also photograph each piece during the wrapping and boxing process for insurance purposes.
