Gustave Wiegand (1870-1957) was a German immigrant to the US. He is known for his paintings of woodland interiors and other pure landscapes in all seasons. His work is light and impressionistic. This Circa 1910-1920’s original large print is signed in the print (lower right hand corner) with his name and is framed in its original fine period arts and crafts frame. It was published and is marked: “The U.S. P. & L. Co. in lower right hand corner. Framed print measures 29.75” wide by 23.75” high. The condition is very fine all original print, glass, frame. There is a lower moisture mark on the back of the cardboard backing which has not gone through the cardboard to the print. Shipping is free with this item.
