This vintage jelly jar is an authentic Tiffany & Co. piece. The jar, as well as it's cover, are made of solid .925 sterling silver and include a glass bowl insert. The sterling silver jar is designed with an elegant pierced pattern that is accented by a raised border. The glass bowl insert sits inside of the sterling silver jar and is designed to hold the jam or jelly. The lid is monogrammed with the initials "RF" in elegant script. The lid also features an opening to insert a serving spoon, as well as a handle for removal from the jar. The lid sits tightly on the jar but is able to be removed fairly easily. This piece has neither been cleaned nor polished in order to maintain the vintage integrity of the jar. The bottom of the piece is stamped: Tiffany & Co. 18423 Makers 9521 Sterling Silver 925-1000 m.

This piece measures approximately 4 1/2" tall, approximately 4 1/4" wide. The sterling silver jar weighs 205 grams (not including the glass bowl insert).
