Vintage Vanity Box or Trinket Jar

Here is a vintage vanity dresser box or jar. There is a beehive mark on bottom. Some wear to the gold around the rim over time from opening and closing the jar. Size 6 inches long and 2.3 inches tall. No chips or cracks present. Appears to be handpainted.
