This elegant Royal Crown Derby dinnerware set's pattern is "Maroon Maple Leaf." The pattern was also made in green and named "Green Maple Leaf." In my opinion, while both colors are beautiful, the burgundy colored design of this set is the more elegant. This set came from an estate where several dinnerware sets were offered. Fortunately, this is one of the sets that was never used. Every piece is, therefore, in PRISTINE condition. Each place setting includes a dinner plate (10 1/2"), ruffled luncheon/ salad/ or dessert plate (9 1/8"), a bread and butter plate(6 1/4") and a teacup and saucer. This dinnerware set is regal, especially with its elegant gold trim and the richly colored burgundy maple leaves on the pure white fine porcelain. The Royal Crown Derby Mark clearly specifies the year of production as 1943. Over 70 years old, it is as factory fresh as the day it was made. In order to preserve the complete integrity of the set, each piece will be carefully packed with bubble wrap, inside a new commercial heavy duty cardboard box with lots of packing peanuts. A flat fee of $25 is charged for shipping by USPS Standard Insured Mail. Sale is confined to the continental United States. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
