Beautiful Simon Halbig HTF Mold 540 Doll

This offering is for a 22" model 540 doll by Simon and Halbig. The bisque is of very high quality and the head is free of any damage, imperfections or restoration. The facial details are superb. The brows are finely feathered in the Simon Halbig manner. The large brown eyes sleep well. The upper and lower lashes are finely painted. There are red eye corner and nostril dots. Dolly has an open mouth with nicely molded lips that form a shy smile. The wig has been replaced, but I do have the original wig. If you would like to have it (ragged, as it is), I will send it along with the doll wearing the replaced wig. The only issue is that the paint is worn on the outer lids which shows when the eyes sleep. The original body is of high quality. It is chunky composition and retains its original paint with hardly a flaw. There are a few superficial lines in the varnish on the chest--no harm, just for information's sake. The costume is replaced and exceptionally pretty. Parisian in style, the dress is made of white and pink satin, with a drop waist and pleated skirt. The matching jacket and bonnet complete the outfit. The shoes are replacement black suede, French style shoes. As always, of course, this doll is guaranteed to fully meet your expectations.
