This offering is for an adorable bent limb character baby by Heubach Koppelsdorf, circa 1905-1910. She has a twinkle in her gorgeous blue sleep eyes that tells you she loves to surprise playmates and also her Mommy. This 11" bisque head doll is marked "Heubach Koppelsdorf 320-12/0 Germany 4." Her strawberry blond colored wig is a replacement which suits her personality to a tee. Her bisque head is perfect--no factory flaws, hairlines, chips, cracks, bisque inclusions or restoration. Her face is a delight--her blue sleep eyes are stunning, her feathered brows baby perfect and her upper eyelid fold, the perfect touch. The bisque is of excellent quality, with a natural perfect blush to her cheeks. She is known as a "breather" due to her pierced nostrils--rare to find in dolls. Her smile is very full, with dark colored full lips, an open mouth and two upper teeth. Her jointed composition body has a original paint and is in excellent condition. There is one very small crack on the back of her right leg and has slightly faded paint on her lower legs. Pretty amazing for a doll that is over 100 years old. She is wearing a delightful dress, with a gorgeous large tatted collar and matching cuffs. She wears replacement stockings and German style green shoes--a perfect match for her dress.
